Hoaxes And Our Willingness To Feed Them
Hoaxes are a part of life. Governments offer us lies or half-truths to further their aims, scientists cite fictitious studies to back up their claims, religious people pretend that their doctrines are science instead of religion. But hoaxes would never be accepted if we did not have the willingness to accept any old tale as the truth. We, as a species, use lies in our lives on a daily basis, and at the same time we are extremely gullible. This video gives food for thought on our cooperation with the perpetrators of hoaxes.
