People of both sexes have reported feeling that they have been molested by a ghost. They feel a pressure on their body and they “know” the ghost is having sex with them, or trying to.

You can accept the idea that the cause of such experiences is supernatural but there is another explanation. It’s called hypnagogic hallucination and it is a normal state that can occur just as we enter the state of sleep.

Science is coming up with explanations of ghostly goings on as well as things like alien abductions in terms of normal brain activity. These explanations are the result of research under controlled conditions but people who have had such experiences are usually convinced they are real.
